Dr. Tonya Williams is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Releasing Living Waters Ministries, a Christ-centered ministry established in 2022 and devoted to life transformation through prayer, teaching, and the uncompromising truth of God’s Word.
She serves under the spiritual leadership and covering of Apostle Leroy Newman of the Friendly Apostolic Church, honoring biblical order and accountability in ministry. She is also the founder of Dr. Tonya Williams Ministries, through which she ministers nationally and internationally with an authentic and accurate prophetic anointing. Called to ministry with a deep passion for spiritual growth and discipleship, Dr. Williams leads with clarity, compassion, and prophetic insight. Dr. Williams is the visionary behind the annual Intercessory Prayer Summit and leads a weekly intercessory prayer call, The Aroma of Prayer. She also ministers weekly through her digital broadcast platform, The Power Gathering, equipping believers to walk boldly in faith, obedience, and spiritual maturity. An accomplished author, Dr. Williams has written several impactful books, including 21 Days of Seeking God, Divine Sync, Embracing Kairos Moments, 21 Days of Clarity, Crafted for Purpose, and Don’t Drop Me, with additional works currently in progress. She is also the host of the podcast Embracing Pivotal Moments, where she shares timely, practical, and prophetic insights to help listeners navigate life transitions and discern divine timing. Beyond the pulpit, Dr. Williams is the Founder of Step Into the Spotlight LLC, a leadership and empowerment platform designed to help individuals, particularly women, find their voice, embrace visibility, and walk confidently in purpose. She is also the CEO and Founder of Visionaries, Women on the Move, Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women through support initiatives and leadership development.
